The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes and No. 3 Michigan Wolverines kick off the latest installment of their annual rivalry this Saturday, November 25.

Former Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer commented on the yearly battle with the Wolverines on his Big Ten Network show, "Urban Analysis."

Meyer said the historic series between Ohio State and Michigan transcends a single weekend. To the Buckeyes, their feud with the Wolverines is at the heart of their program.

"It's not a big week," Meyer said. "It's not a big month. It's not a big game. It's a way of life."

Meyer coached against Michigan seven times during his time at Ohio State, between the 2012 and 2018 seasons. The current FOX analyst won each of those contests by a total score of 275-189.

The impressive 7-0 record Meyer racked up against the Wolverines made him the first Buckeyes head coach since John Wilce in 1924 to finish his career unbeaten in the rivalry with the Maize and Blue. Meyer concluded his time at Ohio State with a 62-39 trouncing of Michigan on November 24, 2018.

Meyer will be covering this season's matchup between the Buckeyes and Wolverines from "The Big House," but behind the anchor's desk as opposed to on the sidelines. There, Meyer will watch Ryan Day (his predecessor as Ohio State's head coach) attempt to improve his 1-2 record against Michigan.

The Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines do battle this Saturday, November 25 at Michigan Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. Eastern, with live coverage airing on FOX from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
