It was revealed earlier this week that ESPN's College GameDay would be in South Bend for Week 4 hosting the primetime matchup between Ohio State and Notre Dame.

The weekly broadcast is set to feature the Buckeyes take on the Fighting Irish in the biggest game of the weekend as the top-ten teams look to secure a key victory early in the season.

In preparation for the contest, ESPN took to Twitter has released a trailer for the matchup.

The 'Showdown in South Bend' will feature two undefeated squads with both teams sitting at 3-0.

Notre Dame is looking like they're ready for a playoff push under sixth-year signal caller Sam Hartman, who's one of the best quarterbacks in the nation thus far in the season. To make a run at the College Football Playoff, though, the Fighting Irish will have to get past this talented Buckeyes team.

Ohio State got off to a bit of a slow start in 2023, but after a 63-10 win over Western Kentucky, it seems that the Buckeyes have got their mojo back.

A lot of that has to do with their incredibly gifted skill players like wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka, as well as running back TreVeyon Henderson.

OSU's found balance at quarterback as well, naming junior Kyle McCord as the full-time starter. This game will tell us a lot more about McCord and will be his most difficult test yet.

When all is said and done, the key for the Buckeyes will be their defense.

If they can stifle the Fighting Irish the same way they have their other opponents this year, they should be heading back to Columbus with a victory and their perfect record still intact.
