As Week 3 of the college football season gets underway this Saturday, ESPN has already announced its location for Week 4's edition of College Game Day.

Ohio State Buckeye fans will be happy to hear that their squad will be featured as the Gameday crew will be setting up shop in South Bend, Indiana where Ohio State will take on Notre Dame in a top ten clash during primetime. The game will feature undefeated squads with NFL-caliber talent and should make for the most interesting test of OSU's season so far.

The first few weeks of the 2023 season haven't exactly been action-packed for Ohio State, as the Buckeyes faced off against three less-than-stellar foes. But they came away with wins in each matchup, and they'll enter their next matchup unscathed.

In Week 3's steamrolling of Western Kentucky University, the Buckeye offense looked as high-powered as it has in a while, scoring 63 points on the Hilltoppers. Head coach Ryan Day's decision to name junior quarterback Kyle McCord as the full-time starter seemingly improved the chemistry and the Buckeyes will need that when they enter Notre Dame Stadium next weekend.

The Fighting Irish are led by veteran quarterback Sam Hartman, who will pose the toughest test that the Ohio State defense has faced this year. Notre Dame also features one of 2023's top recruiting classes, which has them ranked ninth as of Week 3, a ranking that's likely to go up after their 41-17 victory over Central Michigan on Saturday. A road win here for the Buckeyes would surely validate their College Football Playoff hopes.
