Ohio State Buckeyes recruit Prentiss “Air” Noland received an invitation to the Elite 11 Finals following his performance at a regional showcase in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Fairburn, Georgia native committed to the Buckeyes in April as one of the top recruits (at the position and overall) in the 2024 class. Noland threw for 55 touchdowns and over 4,000 yards during his junior year at Langston Hughes High School.

Elite 11 is a football development organization that hosts camps across the country for the top, up-and-coming quarterbacks. The camp works to “forge lasting relationships with the most influential, impressionable and hard to reach athletes, parents and sports enthusiasts in the country,” according to their website.

Noland is following in the footsteps of some major names in football by qualifying for the Elite 11 Finals. Former National Football League (NFL) quarterbacks Brett Farve, Drew Brees, and Tim Tebow are among the roster of Elite 11 alumni.

In 2019, Elite 11 alumni from either a regional or finals camp made up 15 of the NFL’s 20 best passers.

The details of this year’s finals camp have yet to be released, including the dates, times, and location.

Noland will be one of many young and highly touted quarterbacks looking to prove themselves against the top national talent during the camp.

This taste of competition, and the formation of some friendly rivalries, might be just what Noland needs before he makes the jump to college ball with the Buckeyes.
