Ohio State Lands Commitment From TE Max LeBlanc
Four-star class of 2024 tight end Max LeBlanc announced his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday, choosing them over Michigan, Tennessee and North Carolina.
LeBlanc said Ohio State was his dream school as a kid.
"Ohio State has been a dream school since I started playing football," LeBlanc said. "Also, I had a really good feeling when I visited, and loved the relationship and the energy the coaches had with the players."
LeBlanc said his relationship with tight ends coach Keenan Bailey is a close-knit one.
"Coach Bailey is the one that I am closest with," LeBlanc said. "I call him every week, and he is the one who offered me."
LeBlanc is just the latest in the loaded Buckeyes class of 2024, which currently ranks second behind the Georgia Bulldogs, according to 247Sports.
In the class, Ohio State has 10 commitments headlined by Jeremiah Smith, Mylan Graham and Prentiss "Air" Noland.
Ohio State's tight ends room is in good hands for the coming years.
Freshman Jelani Thurman will likely command the group after Cade Stover departs after next season.
The Chattanooga, TN. native stands 6-5 and weighs 225 pounds, as the 270th-best player in the country, the 13th-best tight end and sixth-best player in the state of Tennessee.
