Ohio State QB Devin Brown, RB TreVeyon Henderson Among 12 OUT For Spring Game

The Ohio State Buckeyes will be without 12 players for their spring game Saturday.
In this story:

Head coach Ryan Day said Wednesday that quarterback Devin Brown will be out for the Ohio State Buckeyes' Spring Game after having a procedure done on a finger on his throwing hand.

Brown and running back TreVeyon Henderson are among 12 Buckeyes that will not participate in the spring game. Last season, Henderson had a lingering foot injury that kept him out of the Peach Bowl and limited him to eight games.

Ohio State will be without three key receivers in Emeka Egbuka and Julian Fleming — who have been recovering from injuries during spring practice — and Xavier Johnson, who was seen with a boot on his lower left leg and on a knee rolling scooter.

On defense, the Buckeyes will be without both starting linebackers from last season, Tommy Eichenberg and Steele Chambers.

Eichenberg is out recovering from offseason surgery while Chambers was absent from practice last week on crutches. Day said he will go through a procedure for his injury and should be able to return by the starty preseason camp.

Here is the full list of unavailable Buckeyes for Saturday's spring game:
