RUMOR: Ohio State Buckeyes and Wisconsin Badgers to Play in Primetime on NBC

The game between the Buckeyes and Badgers is set for Saturday, October 28 at Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium, but an official time has yet to be announced.

This season's matchup between Ohio State and Wisconsin will take place in primetime on NBC, according to a rumor on Twitter.

The tweet, from New York Post reporter Ryan Glasspiegel, says that a source has confirmed both the game's network and late-in-the-day kickoff time.

As of the time this article is published, an official time for the contest has not been announced. A location and date have been set, however: Saturday, October 28 at the University of Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium.

The Buckeyes have defeated the Badgers in each of their last nine games, winning most recently 52-21 last season in a black-out game at Ohio Stadium (which also had a primetime kickoff).

Wisconsin has not beaten Ohio State since a 31-18 triumph in 2010.

This season's game against the Badgers will mark the second year in a row where the Scarlet and Gray have played on the road during Halloween weekend. The Buckeyes spent the terrifying holiday in Happy Valley last season, exploding late in the game to seal a 44-31 victory against the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The last time Ohio State spent 'Spooky Season' in Columbus was back in 2021, when the scarlet-clad Buckeyes held on to defeat the Nittany Lions by a final score of 33-24.

It is currently unknown when the time for this season's inter-divisional showdown between Ohio State and Wisconsin will be revealed.
