Oklahoma State Four-Star Basketball Target Speaks on Experience Around Program
Since arriving in Stillwater in 2017, Mike Boynton has seen plenty of success recruiting high level talent to Oklahoma State. He's even been able to land a top player in the recruiting class when he landed Cade Cunningham, who was a future No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft.
This remains true even to this season, where Boynton and his staff is working with an incredibly talented roster, even though an early 4-5 record wouldn't suggest such. Still, Boynton remains an incredible recruiter, and he's targeting Jeremiah Green in the 2025 class.
Green is a top-ten point guard in his class and would be an incredible talent for Boynton to bring to Stillwater. The 6-foot-3 guard is a Denton, TX native, though he's now playing high school basketball at Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas.

In the midst of his recruitment during his junior season of high school basketball, Green spoke with Joe Tipton of On3 Sports about the schools he's visited -- which includes Oklahoma State.
“I thought that was really good too. I’ve known them for a while and I’ve been to Oklahoma State a ton, with team camps and stuff. So just getting to see everybody again and getting to build more of a relationship," Green told Tipton.
Green visited Oklahoma State on Oct. 27, the same weekend the Cowboys held homecoming and routed Cincinnati 45-13 in a football game.
"Also seeing what they have planned for me too and hearing from the players what its like over there, the lifestyle, how the coaching staff loves on them and cares about them like they’re their own sons,” Green said.
Tipton also chatted with Green about what he looks for in a program in which he's looking to join.
“Somewhere I could go make an impact immediately,” he says. “Somewhere that they feel comfortable going through the highs and lows with me and somewhere I feel like I could develop the most and give it the best chance to go to league."
Boynton has sent a star point guard to the league, that being Cunningham in the 2021 NBA Draft. He's got the potential to do so with Eric Dailey Jr. and Isaiah Miranda, two players with pro potential. Green would be able to join the program.
“I think anywhere from the middle of summer this year to the start of my senior year,” Green said of a tentative date of when he wants to commit to a program.
