Oklahoma State will hope to upset Kansas State in its annual blackout game.

In a Friday night matchup against the Wildcats, the Cowboys will look to get a much-needed win. The sold-out crowd at Boone Pickens Stadium will be doing their part with a blackout in the stands.

The Cowboys will too. The all-black look should match with the rest of the stadium and be a great look. It may even give the Cowboys an energy boost.

The cursive Cowboys script will be on display again to go with the rest of the black look. This will also be the first appearance of the Cowboys’ new black jersey.

OSU will be starting quarterback Alan Bowman in his second game as the official starter. OSU will look to get back on track and avoid its first 2-3 start in the Mike Gundy-era, but as a 12-point underdog that will not be easy.

Although the Cowboys are unlikely to make any run in the Big 12, this is an early opportunity for them to play spoiler as the Wildcats hope to replicate their Big 12 Championship win last season. It will not be easy, but OSU desperately needs to pull the upset on blackout night to get its season back on track.
