Oklahoma State is rocking one last uniform combination in 2023.

The Cowboys are looking to get their 10th win in a matchup with a former Big 12 rival. Their Texas Bowl matchup will feature Texas A&M in the teams’ second matchup since the Aggies left for the Southeastern Conference in 2012.

That other matchup was also in the Texas Bowl, where the Aggies narrowly beat the Cowboys to end the 2019 season. The Cowboys went with an all-white look a few years ago but will go with something different this time.

OSU will rock a white-black-white combination in the final game of the season. The helmet features the Cowboys script for the seventh time this season.

It will be just the fourth appearance of the black jerseys this season. Meanwhile, Texas A&M will go with its typical maroon helmet, along with white jerseys and white pants.

After the chaos of the transfer portal gutted the Cowboys before their bowl game last season, 2023 is a much different story.

Among those who have pledged to play in Stillwater in 2024 is Doak Walker Award winner Ollie Gordon II. Gordon has been OSU’s engine offensively since the beginning of conference play and he will look to lead his team in what would be his first bowl victory.

A win in Houston would cap off one of the most interesting OSU seasons in recent memory and send Gordon and company into 2024 with some momentum.
