Preview, How to Watch, Listen: Ole Miss Searching For First SEC Victory vs. Texas A&M
After getting off to a slow start in conference play, the Ole Miss Rebels hit the road this weekend to take on the Texas A&M Aggies in a must-win series as they seek their first SEC victory.
Coming into this series, the Rebels have been swept two weekends in a row by the Vanderbilt Commodores and Florida Gators, with injuries to an already young Ole Miss pitching staff shouldering most of the blame.
Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco announced on Tuesday that he would be making a change to the weekend starting rotation, moving freshman RHP Grayson Saunier to the bullpen and promoting Sunday starter LHP Xavier Rivas to the Saturday shift. Taking over for Rivas in the game-three slot is freshman RHP JT Quinn, who has posted a 5.48 ERA in 23 IP this season.
