Ole Miss Rebels coach Chris Beard just won't let up when it comes to the transfer portal.

Having already targeted a slew of talented players this offseason, securing a few major visits and landing a big commitment from Georgetown transfer Brandon Murray, Beard and the Rebels find themselves near the top of yet another recruiting race.

The Rebels have been targeting UTEP Miners transfer forward Ze'Rik Onyema and are now set to host him for an official visit, per The Portal Report.

A date for the visit has not been revealed as of now.

Coincidentally, a pair of the three other teams that are hosting Onyema for visits are two of Beard's previous coaching stops, as Texas, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt will be welcoming the UTEP transfer to campus as well.

This past season, he averaged 7.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and shot 55.4 percent from the field in 31 starts.

Beard coached against Onyema and the Miners on the opening night of this past season while he was still the head man at Texas. The Longhorns pulled out a 72-57 win, but Onyema was a major reason why UTEP was able to keep it interesting in the second half on the road.

He led the Miners with a team-high 10 points to go along with four rebounds off the bench. This marked the only time he didn't start all season for coach Joe Golding.

Beard apparently liked what he saw that night, and will be hoping that Onyema is convinced that Ole Miss is the place for him once he makes the trip to Oxford.
