DK Metcalf Teaming With Dwayne Wade and 21 Savage in NBA All-Star Game

Former Ole Miss Rebel DK Metcalf has a spot on the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- Seattle Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf has been selected to participate in the 2023 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. The former Ole Miss Rebel will be suiting up for Dwayne Wade's team with notable Atlanta artist 21 Savage.

The entire All-Star Celebrity Game roster was revealed on Wednesday morning.

Metcalf will also be teaming up with the likes of Nicky Jam, Jesser, Simu Liu, Hasan Minhaj, Janelle Monáe, Arike Ogunbowale, Ranveer Singh, and Frances Tiafoe.

The 6-foot-4, 236-pound athlete should have little to no issues making plays against his celebrity opponents who are not nearly as athletically gifted as Metcalf. The only celebrity on the opposing team who might stand a chance at slowing down the former Rebel is NFL Hall of Fame receiver Calvin Johnson.

Johnson's 6-5, 236-pound frame will come in handy when trying to slow down Metcalf in the paint, but it will be interesting to see if the 37-year-old will be able to keep up in the open court with the Seattle receiver who is in his prime.

The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is set to begin at 6 p.m. CT in Vivint Arena and will be televised on ESPN and the ESPN app.
