WATCH: Ex-Ole Miss Receiver DK Metcalf Makes Superhuman Catch in Viral Video
OXFORD, Miss. -- Since the NFL offseason started, Seattle Seahawks star receiver DK Metcalf has made the most of his time off the field.
Whether he is playing in the 2023 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game or making wild catches on social media, the former Ole Miss Rebel is finding plenty of ways to entertain his fans this offseason.
Metcalf's name began circling the internet on Friday when a parody account on Twitter posted a short video of the star wideout making a routine catch before he leaped into the air to make a spectacular one-handed grab.
In the video, Metcalf requests that the ball is thrown over him and he plucks it out of the air with ease as if he has go-go gadget arms.
Metcalf's viral feat has left fans and other NFL players wondering if the video is fake.
“Nah this is insane,” Dallas cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons tweeted.
“S**t looks fake but it’s D.K. So can’t rule nothing out," Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker said via Twitter.
Baker knows all too well from previous experiences that Metcalf is no slouch when it comes to making superhuman-type plays, as the former Rebel once reached 22.64 MPH and traveled 114.8 yards to chase down Budda Baker on a 90-yard interception return in 2020.
