LOOK: Ole Miss Football Hits Weight Room as Spring Semester Begins
The spring semester is (finally) underway on the campus of the University of Mississippi, and the Ole Miss Rebels are hitting the weight room in preparation for the 2024 season.
Ole Miss football shared photos of players working out on Thursday, highlighting the stars who are set to take the field in Oxford this fall. You can view the post below.
Ole Miss is coming off its first 11-win season in program history, and it has been labeled as a legitimate candidate to reach the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff set to open in 2024. The Rebels reached the New Year's Six field for the second time under head coach Lane Kiffin this season, capturing a 38-25 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions on Dec. 30.
The Rebels have a while before the next season kicks off, but they have a favorable schedule entering 2024. Although the Rebels will face the Georgia Bulldogs and Oklahoma Sooners, they will get them at home, and road trips to face the LSU Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks are among the tougher games on the slate.

Kiffin and defensive coordinator Pete Golding have also brought in one of the top transfer portal classes in the country, most recently adding two offensive lineman who previously served with the Washington Huskies.
