Ole Miss Football Listed as Helmet of the Year Nominee

The Rebels sported one of the best looking helmets in college football this season.

OXFORD, Miss. -- With the college football season in the rearview, it is time to decide which team had the best-looking helmet this fall.

The Ole Miss Rebels sported 12 uniform combinations with five helmet variations this season. The powder blue camo lids worn by Ole Miss in the Week 5 home victory over the No. 7 Kentucky Wildcats were recently listed as a nominee for the helmet of the year by UNISWAG on Twitter.

The Rebels and Realtree partnered together to make a custom camo scheme exclusive to Ole Miss which is now being voted on as one of the top helmets from this fall.

Fans who wish to participate in the voting can do so here and will be able to cast their vote until Wednesday.

The Rebels are one of 10 nominees for Helmet of the Year, joining the Tennessee Volunteers, BYU Cougars, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Oregon Ducks, TCU Horned Frogs, North Carolina Tarheels, Utah Utes, Army Black Knights, and Navy Midshipmen.

Utah was named the recipient of the Helmet of the Year award in 2021 and now has the opportunity to win back-to-back titles.
