The Ole Miss Rebels made a new addition to their coaching staff this week, hiring Corey Dennis as the new quarterbacks coach after he formerly held the same position with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

On3 was the first to report the news. Dennis has spent nine years with the Buckeyes in Columbus, coaching quarterbacks for the last four years and working with the likes of Dwayne Haskins, Justin Fields and C.J. Stroud at the signal caller position.

Dennis is also the son-in-law of former college coach Urban Meyer, so his football knowledge will be a vital addition to Kiffin's staff at Ole Miss as the Rebels gun for a College Football Playoff berth in 2024.

Ole Miss has been a unanimous top-10 team in "way-too-early" top 25 rankings this offseason, and many publications have included the Rebels in the top five. This comes on the heels of one of the best seasons in school history in 2023 where Ole Miss won 11-games for the first time as a program, capped off with a victory in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl over the Penn State Nittany Lions.
