'Run it Back!' Jaxson Dart Confirms Return For 2024 Season

Nolen, Wells and others provided statements on social media as to why they chose to come to Ole Miss from their respective schools via the transfer portal.

"I feel that this is the place I need to be to grow more as a person and football player, on and off the field," Nolen said.

"I wanted to be a part of the winning culture Coach Kiffin built here," Wells said. "I also wanted an opportunity to play with the best QB in the SEC."

The quarterback in question for Wells is none other than Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart who announced in early January that he intended to return to campus for his senior season. Wells will join key returning wideouts Tre Harris and Jordan Watkins on the offensive side of the ball in 2024.

Defensively, Nolen, Umanmielen, Paul, and others highlighted a big haul on Pete Golding's side of the ball. Nolen was rated as the No. 2 overall transfer in the country per On3, and Umanmielen came in at No. 11 on that list.
