It’s Turkey Day, which means it’s time to enjoy good food with family and watch the Ole Miss Rebels and Mississippi State Bulldogs duke it out for the Golden Egg Trophy. Ole Miss is playing to secure it’s second 10-win regular season in three years, while State is trying to lock up a bowl appearance. The Rebels are on the road, and the Bulldogs always play their neighbors tough, but Ole Miss is going home happy on Thanksgiving. Big days inbound for Quinshon Judkins and Jaxson Dart.

What’s better Ole Miss fans: knowing Turkey is about to be in your gullet, or knowing the Rebels are about to have their second 10-win regular season? Either way, both happen behind a sound performance from Jaxson Dart at Davis Wade.
The last time the Rebels won the Egg Bowl, they also punched their ticket to a New Year’s Six Bowl. Will the duplication of 2021 continue?

Having grown up in Mississippi, I know the Egg Bowl can get weird, but Ole Miss is the better team on Thursday night. I find it hard to imagine a scenario where the Rebels drop this one, but anything can happen in rivalry games. Still, give me Ole Miss.
