OXFORD -- Ole Miss Rebels running back Quinshon Judkins was named Second-Team All-SEC by the Associated Press on Tuesday, capping off a strong season from the sophomore in Oxford.

Judkins was named to the first team last season by the AP, but even after a slower start in 2023, he finished the regular season as one of the top backs in the league. The Pike Road, Ala., native accumulated 1,052 yards and 15 touchdowns on 237 rushing attempts, making him the eighth player in FBS history and second in SEC history alongside Georgia's Herschel Walker to put up 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns across both their freshman and sophomore seasons.

His 15 rushing touchdowns this season leads the Southeastern Conference and comes in at No. 9 in the FBS, and his 87.7 YPG in the rushing category is fourth-best in the SEC.

Judkins earned this second-team nod alongside Tennessee Volunteers running back Jaylen Wright on Tuesday.

The Rebels just capped off their second-ever 10-win regular season (and second in three years) after taking down the Mississippi State Bulldogs 17-7 in the annual Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving. After much debate, Ole Miss was able to squeak into the New Year's Six bowl field with a No. 11 spot in the final College Football Playoff rankings, and they will participate in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec. 30 against the No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions.

Kickoff in the Peach Bowl is set for 11 a.m. CT at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and the game will be televised on ESPN.
