Ole Miss Transfer Tre Harris Among Top Returning Receivers in 2023

The Rebels found a transfer portal gem in receiver Tre Harris.

OXFORD, Miss. -- To no one's surprise, the Ole Miss Rebels and coach Lane Kiffin have found plenty of gems in the NCAA Transfer Portal this offseason to help bolster their offense.

247Sports released its rankings for the top 25 returning receivers in college football on Thursday, and Ole Miss wideout Tre Harris was listed at No. 24. Harris transferred to Ole Miss in December after spending the last three seasons playing for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

Here is the excerpt on Tre Harris being named one of the top returning wideouts.

24. Tre Harris, Ole Miss

One of the Rebels' top transfer this cycle, Harris pledged to Lane Kiffin in December after earning first-team All-CUSA honors this season. He played in 12 games, registering 65 receptions for 935 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Harris appeared in 24 games while at Louisiana Tech, hauling in 106 receptions for 1,527 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound receiver currently holds a four-star rating according to the On3Sports Database.

With senior receivers Jonathan Mingo and Malik Heath declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft, Harris should be an immediate impact player for the Rebels this fall.
