REPORT: Ole Miss RB Jam Griffin Enters Transfer Portal
The Ole Miss Rebels were already dealing with the departure of running back Quinshon Judkins via the transfer portal on Thursday, and another player from that position group has joined him, per reports from 247Sports.
Jam Griffin, a former transfer running back who came from the Oregon State Beavers last offseason, is reportedly jumping into the portal as well, marking the second back to leave the program on Thursday.
Griffin came to Ole Miss after time with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Oregon State, and during his collegiate career, he has amassed 904 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Only 39 of those rushing yards came this season, his lone year with the Rebels.
'Grateful!' Judkins Posts Departure Message to Ole Miss After Entering Transfer Portal
Griffin's departure likely solidifies that Ole Miss will begin searching the portal itself for some running back help as the program and fans await word on the future decision of Ulysses Bentley IV. Bentley could return for another season if he chooses with one year of eligibility remaining.
