SEC Reveals Kickoff Time, TV For Ole Miss Rebels vs. Alabama Crimson Tide
OXFORD, Miss. -- On Monday, the Southeastern Conference announced the kickoff time for Ole Miss' Week 4 matchup versus the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The No. 17 Ole Miss Rebels are set to battle No. 10 Alabama in Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 2:30 p.m. CT. The matchup will be televised on CBS.
The Rebels are undefeated entering Week 3 after destroying the Mercer Bears 73-3 in Week 1 and taking down the Tulane Green Wave 37-20 last Saturday, but Alabama already has a blemish on its 2023 record.
The Tide handled the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in Week 1 with ease but had to welcome the Texas Longhorns to Tuscaloosa in Week 2. While Alabama got the best of the Longhorns in 2022, Texas came ready to play this year and bested Nick Saban's team 34-24. The loss dropped Alabama seven spots in the most recent AP Poll, giving the Tide an uphill climb if they wish to secure a spot in the college football playoff.
Alabama gets to take out its aggression on the USF Bulls in Week 3 before hosting its first SEC opponent, Ole Miss.
Before Ole Miss can think about Alabama, however, it must take care of business versus the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
While it is important to never overlook an opponent, the Rebels will most likely enter their Week 4 contest versus Alabama with an undefeated record, as Georgia Tech will provide little challenge for Ole Miss. In 2022, the Rebels shut out the Yellow Jackets 42-0 on their home turf.
Ole Miss is set to host Georgia Tech at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
