LOOK: Oregon to Wear Throwback Uniforms vs. Liberty in Fiesta Bowl

A fan favorite is making a return for their bowl game against the Liberty Flames.
In this story:

The No. 8 Oregon Ducks (11-2, 8-2 Pac-12) will wear throwback uniforms when they face the No. 23 Liberty Flames (13-0, 8-0 Conference USA) in the Fiesta Bowl.

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix will play his final college game before handing the reigns of the offense over to Oklahoma transfer Dillon Gabriel. It will be a battle of two-high powered offenses, with both teams averaging more than 40 points per game.

The Fiesta Bowl will be the first-ever matchup between Oregon and Liberty at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The Ducks are coming off a 34-31 loss to the Washington Huskies in the Pac-12 Championship game and are hoping to end the year on a high note.

Nix will duel with Liberty sophomore quarterback Kaidon Salter, and Oregon's defensive front will be tasked with defending a quarterback that has also ran for more than 1,000 yards this year.

The Ducks could welcome back two of their top players on defense as both cornerback Jahlil Florence and defensive end Jordan Burch are game-time decisions, according to defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi.

Dan Lanning is off to a good start in bowl games at Oregon, as the Ducks won their bowl game last year 28-27 against the North Carolina Tar Heels.
