2024 WR Tyseer Denmark Reportedly Decommits From Oregon
Recruiting is fluid, which means it's not always good news.
2024 Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic wide receiver Tyseer Denmark has decommitted from Oregon, according to a report from Adam Friedman of Rivals.
Denmark, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound pass catcher, is ranked the No. 3 recruit in Pennsylvania. He originally committed to Oregon on Thanksgiving of last year and is reportedly visiting Penn State this weekend.
The visit to State College rose some eyebrows before the news broke on Sunday, especially since cross-country commitments can be hard to hold on to.
After all, James Franklin and the Nittany Lions were one of his three finalists along with Oregon and Ohio State prior to his initial commitment.
With Denmark back on the market, Junior Adams and the Ducks now have three wide receivers committed in the 2024 recruiting class in Jordan Anderson, Jack Ressler and Dillon Gresham. All three players are from California.
The Ducks still have other options on the board at wide receiver this cycle, but two names stand out the most. They're heavily involved with St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers standout Jeremiah McClellan, who is taking his official visit next weekend, and Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan product Ryan Pellum, who will take his official visit to Oregon next week.
Burley (Idaho) speedster and All-American Gatlin Bair is also on campus for his official visit now, however the Ducks aren't viewed as the favorite from his top five that includes Michigan, Nebraska, Boise State and TCU.
It wasn't all bad news for Oregon on Sunday though, as 2024 Sacramento (Calif.) Grant Union safety Kingston Lopa announced his commitment to the Ducks on during his official visit.
The Ducks have 16 verbal commitments and have the No. 5 recruiting class in the country.
