Oregon's offensive line class is starting to take shape with Fox Crader and Trent Ferguson in the fold for 2024.

But A'lique Terry would love to add some more big names in his first cycle with the Ducks since returning to Eugene.

Oregon will host 2024 Draper (UT) Corner Canyon offensive tackle Isaiah Garcia this weekend for an unofficial visit and he previewed the trip with Ducks Digest.

"I've never been out to the state of Oregon in general, so kind of excited for that," Garcia said. "And then obviously meeting the staff, meeting everybody is going to be something that I'm really looking forward to. Getting to see their practice is going to be something really cool for me because I know seeing a team practice and seeing how the coaches coach up their dudes and how the practice runs and how everything flows is pretty important to see as a recruit."

His trip to Eugene will give him the chance to meet new offensive line coach A'lique Terry and it sounds like the two have already hit it off.

"I've been chatting with him over the phone every now and then since I got the offer and he seems like a really good guy. I really like Coach Terry. (He) Seems super genuine. I've seen some clips of him in practice and I really liked the energy that he brings."

At 6'5", 280 pounds, Garcia has made a name for himself as the state's top player after transferring to Corner Canyon this offseason. Even though he's never been to Eugene, there's a lot that he already likes about Oregon.

"The thing that sticks out to me about the school is just kind of their tradition of winning in the past," he said. "They've always just been super elite and especially their offensive line. You look at some of the dudes they've produced and developed at the O-line position and it's really intriguing as an O-line recruit to see that-- putting dudes out like Penei Sewell and having dudes there that went to the draft this year."

The Ducks have prioritized Utah, building somewhat of a pipeline in recent years. That carries a bit of weight for Garcia.

"I think it does a little bit. Talking to Coach Terry he even kind of joked around about it, he gave me the nickname Utah's finest. They have had some dues out of Utah, like Sewell and Jackson (Powers-Johnson). It's definitely cool to kind of have a pipeline like that and have relations, to be able to talk to Jackson. It's just kind of cool to have that pipeline and those connections for sure. So it's definitely been a benefit."

Aside from Oregon, he's hearing from a number of programs the most.

"I'd say USC is reaching out a good amount. Nebraska is really reaching out a lot. Baylor is as well, Stanford. I get good conversations in with the Utah coaches every now and then. And then Oregon for sure. Oregon is definitely one."

The offensive tackle is working on planning some more trips after he visits Oregon.

"Right now this is kind of one of the last unofficials that I'm taking. But official wise I know I'm gonna start locking in some officials within the next couple of weeks for late May and June."

A select group of schools have a good shot at getting those official visits.

"USC is definitely one that is in a really good spot right now. Washington as well. Obviously depending on how the visit out to Oregon goes. I've been wanting to get out to Oregon for a while and it was always a school that was high on my list. I'm gonna lock in four and then leave one open just in case one of the bigger schools comes in kind of later."

Garcia added that he'd like to commit in July before his senior season but will push things back if he needs more time.
