On Monday, junior college guard Jadrian Tracey announced his commitment to the Oregon Ducks.
Tracey is a 6'6", 210-pound guard originally from Fort Myers, Florida. He started his college career in 2020 playing at St. Joseph's--a Jesuit university in Philadelphia.
After spending one season with the Hawks he decided to take his talents to the junior college level at Florida Southwestern State. Tracey played in 29 games for the Bucs this season and averaged 14.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
He shot 44.6% from the field and 43.3% from three-point range. His 43.3 mark was a single-season record at Florida Southwestern State.
Tracey was named to the 2023 Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) All-State team after a standout 2022 season. He averaged 22.9 points per game over the final eight games of the season and helped lead the Bucs to a second place finish after owning the worst-record in the conference at one point in the season.
The Ducks will face the Wisconsin Badgers on ESPN in the third round of the NIT on Tuesday in Eugene.
Tracey joins a 2023 Oregon class that ranks No. 9 nationally according to 247Sports and features big names like in-state point guard Jackson Shelstad and five-star forwards Kwame Evans Jr. and Mookie Cook.
