Prediction: 2024 Wide Receiver to Oregon

Logging a new pick for the Ducks.
In this story:

Oregon is flying high on the recruiting trail, boasting the nation's No. 6 recruiting class after landing a trio of commitments in the last week in Michael Van Buren, Xadavien Sims and Dillon Gresham

Today I'm logging a prediction for Oregon to land 2024 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Jack Ressler

Confidence meter: 7.5/10

Explaining the pick

Ressler is down to Oregon and Boise State and a decision is expected in early June. He just visited Eugene with some of his teammates and I don't think the Oregon buzz could have been any stronger coming out of that trip.

He's taken four or five trips to Eugene and he told me it just keeps getting better each time. He has strong relationships with both Dan Lanning and Junior Adams, which certainly aids the Ducks' case. He also told me he sees some similarities between Lanning and legendary Mater Dei head coach Bruce Rollinson, who just recently retired.

Ressler has strong connections to multiple commits like Jurrion Dickey and Jordan Anderson and the coaching staff has done a great job creating a family environment for him. Oregon has made Mater Dei a priority in the 2024 recruiting class and getting Ressler in the fold could just be the start of the Ducks' recruiting efforts in Santa Ana this cycle.

I think if the Ducks want to get this one done I have a hard time seeing them lose out to Boise State.

Sources I've spoken to feel really good about Oregon's chances here.
