PREDICTION: 2025 Wide Receiver to Oregon

The Ducks are in a great spot for one of the top playmakers in the 2025 class.
In this story:

Oregon is off to a strong start in the 2025 recruiting cycle with four verbal commitments. They already have two wide receivers in the fold with Dallas Wilson and Adrian Wilson, but that number could be growing soon.

Today I'm predicting that Oregon will land 2025 Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame Prep wide receiver Cooper Perry.

Confidence meter: 7/10

Explaining the pick

Oregon has been in on Perry longer than any other school. Arizona State was his first official offer, but the Ducks identified and prioritized him very early in the process.

He's taken two trips to Oregon and I'm told he's expected to be back in Eugene for the spring game on April 27. This coaching staff has done a phenomenal job recruiting Arizona, as they've made a habit of signing some of the best players the state has to offer in recent cycles like Kyler Kasper, Cole Martin, A'Mauri Washington and Elijah Rushing to name a few.

Perry is also very close to new Oregon quarterback Luke Moga from Phoenix (Ariz.) Sunnyslope, as the two have a long-standing friendship that goes way back. The fact that they happen to be a quarterback and wide receiver combo is just a bonus.

I don't see another school being able to surpass the relationships Oregon has built with Perry. The Ducks are also still heavily involved with LSU wide receiver commit Dakorien Moore, and adding Perry to this group would be another big win for the Ducks.

Junior Adams might need a raise with how well he's recruiting and developing wide receivers in Eugene.
