Penn State Recruiting: Lions Win Commitment from Wisconsin's Top Prospect

Donovan Harbour, among the nation's highest-ranked offensive linemen, joins the Lions' 2024 recruiting class.

Penn State added another top-ranked prospect to its 2024 recruiting class Tuesday, when offensive lineman Donovan Harbour announced his commitment.

Harbour is the No. 1 player in Wisconsin for the 2024 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports. He joins Quinton Martin of Pennsylvania's Belle Vernon High as a statewide top-ranked player in the Lions' class. Martin committed to Penn State in early April.

Harbour (6-3, 310 pounds) is a rising junior at Catholic Memorial High in Waukesha. He was named first-team all-state as a junior and received honorable mention as a sophomore in 2021. Harbour plays for one of the strongest programs in Wisconsin; Catholic Memorial reached the Division 4 title game last season and has won nine state championships.

Harbour visited Penn State for the Blue-White Game. It was one of seven schools he listed among his top interests in December. The group included Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin. Oregon, Tennessee and Florida. Harbour also has offers from Auburn, Iowa, Michigan State and Illinois. among many others.

According to 247Sports, Harbour is the No. 7 interior lineman in the nation and a top-150 national prospect overall. He would be a major addition for a program that seeks to build an offensive line capable of winning a Big Ten title.

Harbour is the 10th player to commit to Penn State's 2024 recruiting class, which ranks sixth nationally after his decision.
