Penn State Gets Blue-White Commitment From Pennsylvania Lineman
STATE COLLEGE | After Saturday's Blue-White Game ended at Beaver Stadium, Penn State coach James Franklin made his way across a receiving line of about 150 recruiting prospects attending the game. One was Pennsylvania lineman Caleb Brewer, who later announced his commitment.
Brewer, a 3-star lineman from Wyomissing High, became the ninth player to commit to Penn State's 2024 recruiting class.
Brewer is the fifth player from Pennsylvania to join the Lions' 2024 recruiting class. The 6-4, 275-pound lineman is the eighth-ranked player in Pennsylvania, according to 247Sports. He chose Penn State from an offer sheet that includes Maryland, Illinois, Boston College, Pitt and Tennessee.
The Blue-White Game represents one of Penn State's most active recruiting weekends of the year, and Brewer's commitment likely won't be the last to emerge from it.
Penn State has been on a recruiting roll of late, landing five commitments since March 25. The Lions' 2024 class ranks 10th nationally, according to 247Sports.
