DURHAM -- The Pitt Panthers capped their 80-76 win over No. 7 Duke, the program's first victory at Cameron Indoor Stadium since 1979, in style. They shushed the Blue Devil fans, taunted the crowd and Blake Hinson delivered an iconic moment, standing on a table right in front of the students, arms spread wide as he basked in their jeers after the buzzer sounded.

The middle fingers and boos directed at Hinson proved the Duke fans didn't appreciate Pitt's bodacious celebrations and star forward Kyle Filipowski voiced his displeasure with it following the loss.

"They played a really good game and of course, whoever comes into Cameron, they're going to see this as their championship and it was really disrespectful what they did," Filipowski said. "So we're going to have to take that with a grain of salt and remember that for next time anytime someone steps in the building again."

The Panthers stepped into one of the most intimidating venues in the sport and pulled off an upset for the ages. Battling through their own struggles, a frustrating whistle and physical, talented opponents, Pitt broke through for a desperately needed victory. Their catharsis was understandable.

But the Blue Devils didn't see it that way and they will remember it the next time they face the Panthers, which wouldn't be until the ACC Tournament in March. This was the last game Pitt is scheduled to play against the Blue Devils until next season.
