Pitt Finalizes Non-Conference Schedule
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers have finalized their complete non-conference schedule for the 2023-24 season.
The Panthers will host an exhibition against Pitt-Johnstown on November 1 to open competition and a previously-announced game against North Carolina A&T at the Petersen Events Center will serve as the season opener. Games against Florida Gulf Coast
The Panthers will play eight of their 11 non-conference games in November and December at the Petersen Events Center, headlined by Missouri's visit to Pittsburgh for the inaugural ACC-SEC Challenge.
Each of their three games away from home will come against high major opponents, but just one - the Backyard Brawl on December 6 - will be a true road game. The other two will come the week of Thanksgiving at the Preseason NIT in Brooklyn, New York against two of Baylor, Florida and Oregon State.
The full non-conference schedule looks like this, with game times and television designations to be decided.
