PITTSBURGH -- It is Champ Week and around the country, college basketball conference tournaments are in full swing. The Power 5 will begin their postseasons this week and take it right up to Selection Sunday. The Pitt Panthers will be in Greensboro, North Carolina for the ACC Tournament and either Florida State or Georgia Tech will meet them in the second round.

Pitt, who was among the top-four in the ACC standing for most of the conference season, is not among the favorites to win their first conference tournament title since 2008. The Panthers have the seventh-best odds to win it all, according to SportsBetting.ag. They have +1400 odds, trailing the favorite Duke (+275), Miami (+325), Virginia (+325), North Carolina (+575), Clemson (+650) and NC State (+575).

The advanced metrics rating system KenPom also has the Panthers as the seventh-most likely to win the tournament. Ken Pomeroy's system gives Pitt a 6.6% chance to emerge victorious in the finals. Duke (23.4%) is again the favorite, followed by Miami (18.4%), Virginia (15.7%), North Carolina (12%), Clemson (9.1%) and NC State (8.5%). No one else has a greater than 3% chance.
