PITTSBURGH -- Carter Warren's outstanding career as a Pitt Panther was cut short by a knee injury that also kept him out of workouts at the NFL Combine and his Pro Day. But nonetheless, Warren is rapidly rising up draft boards.

ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller called Warren a "hot" name among NFL squads right now. Miller reported he's met with the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants and has more meetings scheduled for when for the two and a half weeks leading up to the Draft. Miller pegs Warren as a Day 3 pick, but could see him coming off the board sooner.

Warren was an essential piece of the offensive line that blocked for 2021's record-setting Pitt offense and earned second-team All-ACC honors for his contributions. Warren was a candidate for the draft at the end of last season but decided to give it one more year as a Panther. He played four games in 2022 before suffering a season-ending injury. He attended the Shrine Bowl but did not play while he rehabbed that same shoulder injury.
