PITTSBURGH -- To snap their current three-game losing streak and earn their first ACC win of the season against Virginia Tech, the Pitt Panthers will have to rely on a thinner starting lineup that will be without three regulars this week.

Starting linebacker Bangally Kamara, defensive tackle Devin Danielson and center Jake Kradel were not listed on Pitt's travel roster prior to kickoff against the Hokies.

Kamara had missed the last three halves of game action with an undisclosed injury and was in a walking boot during the Panthers' last game against North Carolina. Kradel did not play either after suffering an injury midweek prior to the North Carolina game. Danielson went down but returned in the game last week against the Tar Heels.

In less than three full games this season, Kamara has registered 14 total tackles, two for a loss, one sack and a pass defended. Kradel has been the starting center stretching back to last season. Danielson has amassed six total tackles and 1.5 sacks in four games this season.

Redshirt freshman Kyle Louis took the majority of the second half snaps at linebacker against West Virginia and made his first career start against North Carolina and is likely to do the same again this week.

At center, Terrance Moore made his first start against North Carolina and played well, according to offensive line coach Dave Borbley. He will also reprise his starting role against the Hokies.

The Panthers will likely lean on Tyler Bentley and Sean FitzSimmons to fill the void Danielson leaves behind.
