PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will get a handful of key starters and one reserve back this week against Boston College, but one starting defender will miss Senior Night.

The Panthers will get reserve tight end Karter Johnson, backup defensive tackle Tyler Bentley and starting right guard B.J. Williams back from injury but starting defensive tackle Devin Danielson is inactive.

Johnson and Williams did not travel with the team to New York City to face Syracuse last week. But both are expected to take on major roles against the Eagles. Williams is expected to reprise his starting role and Johnson, with regular starter Gavin Bartholomew sidelined by a lower body injury, is expected to start. Johnson's caught four passes for 84 yards and a touchdown so far this season.

Bentley was hurt in the middle of the Syracuse game but also stands to see more playing time tonight with Danielson in street clothes and not warming up. Bentley has racked up 21 total tackles, two for a loss and half of a sack in 10 appearances going into this week.
