PITTSBURGH -- Despite a rough 2023 campaign that ended with a 3-9 record that marks the worst of head coach Pat Narduzzi's tenure as head coach, the Panthers still managed to land five players on the 2023 All-ACC football team.

Pitt's All-ACC contingent was led by cornerback M.J. Devonshire on the second-team defense, with tight end Gavin Bartholomew, wide receiver Bub Means, safety Donovan McMillon and kick returner Kenny Johnson following behind as honorable mentions.

Devonshire, who has yet to announce whether he will use his final year of eligibility to play with the Panthers, recorded 32 total tackles, a team-high four interceptions that also ranked third in the ACC.

Bartholomew was one of the best big-play threats in college football this season, averaging more than 18 yards per reception. He totaled 18 catches for 326 yards and one touchdown in just 10 games.

Means started slow but came on strong in the second half of the season. He finished the year with a team-high 721 yards on 41 receptions and caught a touchdown in six of his last eight games. Means is also eligible to return to Pitt next season, should he choose.

McMillon became the first Pitt player since 2015 ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year, Jordan Whitehead to record 100 tackles or more in a season and added one pass defended and a forced fumble for good measure.

Johnson averaged 23.1 yards per kickoff return this season and his 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown gave the Panthers a massive spark in their Week 4 contest against North Carolina.
