PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers now have two more dates confirmed for 2024 football games as the ACC rolls out its full schedule for the coming football season slowly.

After learning when their season opener against Kent State would be played, the Panthers now know when they'll take on the Syracuse Orange. The ACC has assigned these two natural rivals a Thursday night kickoff in Week 9, exactly one week before Halloween.

Pitt has five weeks of it's 2024 calendar filled out. They'll take on the Golden Flashes in their season opener at Acrisure Stadium in Week 1, travel to Nippert Stadium to take on Cincinnati in Week 2, come back home to face West Virginia in Week 3 and wrap up the non-conference schedule in Week 4 against Youngstown State.

Add in the Syracuse game during Week 9 and the Panthers have just eight more games that need dates. Pitt will learn when they play Boston College, Lousiville, North Carolina, Cal, Clemson, Virginia and SMU on Wednesday night, when the ACC releases the full football schedule.
