Former Michigan State Star Adreian Payne Dies at Age 31
Heartbreaking news has hit the college basketball world as former Michigan State star and first-round pick in the NBA Draft Adreian Payne has died at the age of 31, according to the Detroit Press.
Payne played four seasons at Michigan State before being a first-round pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks.
Payne made national attention off the court for his friendship with Lacey Holsworth, an eight-year-old who passed away from cancer.
