PITTSBURGH -- It's a busy weekend for the Pitt Panthers, with two basketball games and a road trip to the Big Apple on deck for the football team.

Panthers basketball will be seriously tested by a pair of mid-majors - Binghamton and Florida Gulf Coast - that gave other Power 5 opponents all they could handle in each of their respective season openers on the road. Binghamton, who's first up, will test the Panthers with their pace and experience, particularly at the guard positions.

Pitt's young point guards will have to replicate their play from the opener and elevate it to survive against an older group.

Meanwhile, football head coach Pat Narduzzi gave some of his thoughts on midseason coaching changes and one breakout star on the defense in his final roundtable press conference of the 2023 season.
