PITTSBURGH -- Add a three-star running back and receiver to the list of recruits expected to visit the Pitt Panthers next month, which has become one of the most crucial on the recruiting calendar for the Pitt Panthers over the past couple of years.

Josiah McLaurin, a native of Clinton, North Carolina who is wrapping up his junior year at Clinton High School, will be in Pittsburgh to visit with the Panthers during the third week of June, he announced on Twitter.

McLaurin is ranked as high as the No. 28 player in North Carolina (Rivals) and the No. 53 athlete in the class of 2024.

In his Junior season, he rushed 103 times for 903 yards and 18 touchdowns and hauled 33 receptions for 490 yards and four touchdowns.

He's set a commitment date of August 16, per a report from Karl Ludwig of Pittsburgh Sports Now and has a visit to East Carolina scheduled for next month as well.

He's received offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Florida A&M, Georgia Tech, James Madison, Liberty, Old Dominion and Virginia Tech and garnered interest from Maryland and North Carolina State.
