Maryland OL Schedules Visit to Pitt
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will host a hulking offensive line prospect next month as part of a typically busy month on the recruiting program for their program.
Mason Lindsay, a 6'7 and 290-pound offensive tackle from Hyattsville, Maryland who attends powerhouse DeMatha Catholic High School, announced this week that he will visit Pitt on June 1.
While he holds just one three-star rating from Rivals, the junior lineman has picked up plenty of Power 5 offers since last season.
Nearby Maryland was the first Division I school to extend an offer last July and Boston College, West Virginia and Virginia Tech followed on the same day. UConn, Wake Forest and Duke also expressed some interest. Charlotte, Maine and Elon offered as well before Pitt threw their hat in the ring with an offer of their own earlier this week.
