PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers currently have just one player committed to their 2024 recruiting class but he has been hard at work establishing himself as one of the best players in his class.

Brandin Cummings, who committed to Pitt back in January, has been lighting up the Nike EYBL Circuit, widely considered one of, if not the best AAU competitions in America. He earned second-team all-circuit honors this week as the leader of the All Ohio Red team.

Cummings averaged 19.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and an assist per game over three contests for All Ohio, who ended with a 1-2 record in their three games. No one on the second team scored more than Cummings and just six players on the first team averaged more points per game.

A local product from Midland, Pennsylvania, Cummings is a consensus three-star recruit (On3, 247Sports) but ESPN considers him a four-star prospect. He's tanked as high as the No. 7 player in Pennsylvania (On3) and No. 27 point guard in the class of 2024 (247Sports).
