PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers have scheduled a visit with one of the best prospects from their own backyard this week.

Cameron Lindsey, a star linebacker from Aliquippa High School, will be in Pittsburgh to take an official visit with the Panthers from June 9-11, according to a report from Mike Vukovcan of Pittsburgh Sports Now

Lindsey will visit West Virginia the week before.

Rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals, Lindsey is also ranked as the No. 11 player in the state of Pennsylvania. 247Sports and On3 both have him well inside Pennsylvania's top-20 recruits as well. Rivals also ranked him as high as the No. 22 linebacker in the country.

Lindsey holds offers from the Mountaineers, Penn State, Cincinnati, Duke, Maryland, Syracuse, UNLV, Kent State, UMass, UConn, Marshall, Old Dominion and Liberty. Notre Dame, Kentucky and Virginia Tech have shown interest.
