PITTSBURGH -- Four-star linebacker and Pitt Panthers target Cameron Lindsey had just been named a first-team all-state selection in basketball like he did in football, and Pat Narduzzi wasted little time making a public push for the Aliquippa linebacker.

Following the announcement of the all-state teams from the Pennsylvania Sports Writers that made Lindsey one of just two players to earn first-team distinctions in both football and basketball, Narduzzi Tweeted a picture of former Aliquippa and Pitt standout and NFL great Darelle Revis, who also earned first-team all-state honors in basketball and football.

"Pitt -> NFL -> Hall of Fame," Narduzzi wrote. "Sometimes it's just meant to be."

Lindsey is ranked as high as the No. 11 player in Pennsylvania and No. 22 linebacker in the class of 2024. The 6'0, 200-pound linebacker holds offers from Pitt, West Virginia, Penn State, Duke, Maryland, Syracuse, UConn and others. He's visited with the Panthers and West Virginia this spring.
