PITTSBURGH -- Todd Sibley arrived in Pittsburgh at the beginning of his college career. As a former four-star recruit the Panthers lured away from Ohio State, he was expected to be the next great Pitt Panthers running back.

His time at Pitt didn't unfold quite the way many fans and coaches or even Sibley himself might have hoped, but he has nevertheless created a successful career for himself in college and that work has earned him a spot at rookie minicamp with the Las Vegas Raiders, where he will compete for a shot at an NFL roster spot.

Sibley, a former Under Armour All-American selection, was rated as high as the No. 6 player in Ohio and No. 16 running back in the class of 2017 (ESPN). He chose the Panthers over the likes of Michigan, Ohio State, Kentucky and others. Sibley accounted for 321 total yards on 69 carries during his four active seasons and 33 appearances at Pitt.

With his touches and playing time having wanned as he got older, Sibley looked for a larger role at a smaller school, so he transfered to Albany, where he starred for the Great Danes. He appeared in 10 games in 2022, rushing for 987 yards and 10 touchdowns, along with a receiving touchdown on the way to third-team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors.
