Penn State Offers Local Pitt Target Kyshawn Robinson
PITTSBURGH -- A recruiting battle for one of the best young players in Western Pennsylvania between the Pitt Panthers and Penn State Nittany Lions is looming.
Kyshawn Robinson, a 5'10 and 165-pound 2026 Pitt target from Westinghouse High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, picked up an offer from James Franklin and Penn State while attending a 7 on 7 camp in State College this week.
The Panthers were among the first six FBS programs to offer the rising junior who plays cornerback, safety and running back, alongside UNLV, West Virginia, Nebraska, Texas A&M and Toledo. Now Florida, Syracuse Akron and Penn State are also in the mix.
Robinson has taken visits to Texas A&M, West Virginia, Akron, Penn State and Oklahoma this year.
His recruitment is just getting started and the Panthers should expect more elite Power 5 programs to throw their hats in the ring as Robinson's recruitment really begins to take off.
