PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are in line to add another talented wide receiver to their 2024 recruiting class after three-star prospect Ta'Ron Haile released a top eight that included the Panthers.

Haile's finalists listed Pitt alongside Old Dominion, Maryland, Penn State, James Madison, West Virginia, Syracuse and UConn. The Panthers extended an offer to Haile last November.

Haile, a native of Millville, New Jersey who attends Millville High School, is considered the No. 88 receiver in this class by On3, No. 94 by 247Sports and No. 96 by Rivals. Those recruiting services have him as the No. 13, 12 and 11 player in New Jersey, respectively and all rate him as a three-star prospect. He held 14 offers in all, with Virginia, Temple, Towson, Nebraska and Boston College among those who did not make the cut.

The Panthers have just one wide receiver - four-star prospect DayDay Farmer - committed to the class of 2024 and have 10 players in all who have given verbal pledges.
