PITTSBURGH -- Recruits have been coming fast and furious for the Pitt Panthers over the past month, as the month of June proves to be another fruitful stage of the recruiting cycle. 12 of the 15 future Panthers in the 2023 class committed last month and helped Pitt rise to as high as 24th in 247Sports' national rankings. But as other teams build their classes simultaneously, the Panthers have slipped slightly.

Pitt's class, led by four-star quarterback Kenny Minchey and three-star corner Brice Pollock, currently sits at 27th, a slight slip from it's June peak. They are sandwiched by a pair of ACC foes - Boston College at 28th and Wake Forest at 26th. The Demon Deacons, alongside Alabama and TCU, were a few of the teams to leapfrog Pitt.

Three-star linemen Tai Ray, Ryan Carretta and Phillip Daniels were the latest additions to the class, which is actually bigger than it appears. According to the "Pat Signals" - commitment announcements posted by head coach Pat Narduzzi - the Panthers still have a pair of players that have given a verbal commitment, but have yet to announce that themselves.
